It has been quiet here on the blog but not at our house. We had a big surprise. Our latest foster dog (we foster for the Kingston Humane Society) came with extras. A 12 puppy litter as a matter of fact. Armed with a 2 page FAQ I midwived 14 puppies (12 live births and 2 stillborns) over the course of 27 hours… and then the very next day started work after a 6 month leave. It has been busy to say the least. I am planning a post with the whole story – but not until after they are gone. Twelve puppies is fun and a LOT of work. In the mean time, here are some pictures as a consolation prize.
